| 1.55 foams for a light weight Barrage with MT/Rs?
Anybody have recommendations for foams for a set of 1.55 RC4WD MT/R tires on a stock-ish Barrage? The biggest issue I've run into on the Barrage with the couple sets of tires that I've had on it so far is that even with the super cheap stock foams, the tires are too firm to compress because the truck is so light. Since most tires, even the 1.55s, are designed for larger (and heavier) trucks, I'm concerned that any foams are going to be too firm for my application. CI has the CWR-2007 1.55 Lil Novas with the soft outer foam, but because they're labeled as being for 3.5-3.75" tall tires, I'm a bit concerned that they may still fill the tire too much for it to stay soft. I ran into this using the 4.5" Lil Novas on my Gen8. Does anybody have experience with foams in a 1.55 on the smaller 1/12 trucks? Maybe some guys with the 1.55 CR12 trucks can chime in? |

CI has single stage 1.55 inserts that should do the trick. Lil' Nova Single Stage 1.55 The description says they are good for trucks around 3lbs. |
