I guess I'm one of those deluded people.

My foams and the inside of my tires look like they did when I bought them two years ago after being completely submerged countless times. Even the mold release agent is still present.

Not really surprising since I am clamping rubber, between two flat surfaces, pretty well the defacto standard for waterproofing in any industry.

Nobody here is disputing that vented is capable of performing better vs non vented tires.

I have ran non vented and liked the performance, it just didn't out weigh the negatives for me personally, and a few others it seems.

I don't get why it's such a problem if people share their experiences and suggest non vented as a viable option.

I honestly don’t have a problem with any manner in which people want to run their rigs, wheels/tires/foams. It really is down to personal preference and weighing the pluses & minuses for your application. Additionally, very well aware of NEMA, Telcordia, GR, UL standards for waterproofing, water mitigation. It’s great that your non-vented tires seem to be keeping water out. It’s nothing I would count on as a standard though. I’ll say what I’ve said a hundred times on this forum in these sorts of circumstances. At the end of the day, we’re all driving tiny trucks around in an effort to blow off steam and enjoy ourselves. Hope everyone has a chance to get out this weekend, have fun and enjoy their vented or non-vented tires!

Weather has been crap here as well. Alternating between snow with freezing and then thaw with snow melt and rain. Honestly, I’ll take the snow and freezing over cold rain any day!

Also depends on the tire, if I ran my MTRs with no foam and sealed up, they'd be on the sidewalls and torn to shit.

Here's mine, sealed AND with foams, big difference between mine and that Jeep, should be comparing apples to apples if we are gonna make such comparisons.

I'm lovin that wheel/tire combo Xx Losungen xX! Looks great, and you do seem to be getting plenty of conforming.

It was complete sarcasm! It obviously looks legit.

It was showing that a non-vented tire can conform to the terrain and I was being sarcastic since so many venters don't believe it to be possible.

Thanks, I'll give all the credit to RC4D and SSD for that, so far my favorite scale combo though.

And that not all vented tires behave the same either.

If comparisons between the two are to be done, should they not be done with the same setup?

My non vented tires perform very differently than what's on that Jeep for example, as they should, two totally different tires.

You must have me confused with someone else.
Fack it, I'm done trying to explain.

Cheers mate
