Go to youtube and do a search for Traxxas Traxx. Literally pages and pages of video reviews.

I have two sets I like them so much. My kid and I have been running them in the snow this winter. They require some care and maintenance to keep them in good condition, but there is a lot more to them than a set of tires so no surprises there. What kind of information are you after?

In my opinion they are designed and perform really well, a least in winter. I would never consider taking them out over the rocks. The tracks lack the benefits you get from foam-tuning your tires.

Here is a link to some running video I took of them

I bought a set. Went to install them and only then realized they won't work with SSD portal weights. I stopped their. I'm not removing the portal weights so I either have to modify the Traxx shock mounts or create my own.

I think the traxx for the TRX4 out performed tires in deep snow (six to eight inches),but theirs alot of rolling resistance and put a strain on the motor and E.S.C.

The bushings and bearings need to be oiled if you are getting them wet. It’s simple, but needs to be done so they continue running smoothly.

Rolling resistance? They aren’t designed to roll dude. The contact patch is a large flat surface.

Alot of moving parts and possible the traxx being new could be a cause of this. But traxxas highly suggest using only using the low gear in the two speed. As for maintenance Traxxas recommends clearing off mud and water with compressed air and also spraying wd40 on the metal parts/bushings of the of the traxx

Yeah there's more drag in the Traxx than you have with tires. That's why Traxxas has a big, bright yellow sheet taped to the inner packaging that states you must pay attention to your gearing.

update. I picked some up and I haven't been disappointed! I realized that my rear diff lock had broken so I went to my local shop and picked up some permanently locked diff spools, and they work so great! the mounting is a hassle though, I'm sad I cant just slap them on and if I wanted to while on the trail slap on my tires. I've had my trx4 for about a month now and it just keeps on delivering new and amazing suprise. by far the beat crawler I've physically witnessed. sure I've sunk about 1,800$ into it but I'm not disappointed or unimpressed at all!
