Oh I like those! These wheels have the depth that most RC wheels are missing. Too many machined RC wheels are virtually flat faced which just isn't like real wheels. Nicely done. "thumbsup"

Man, those are sweeeeeeeeeet. Chris, any chance you'll be releasing them in colors other than bronze & gray? I could always have the anodizing removed, and have a local shop anodize them to whatever color i want, but it's always easier if a color is available when purchasing.

I will say I think the silver version is begging for silver, scale hardware around the beadlock ring.

Any plans to release scale hardware for the hubs?

I like those wheels but what size are the hex on the bolts for the outter ring? Those look damn small and that’s the only negative thing I have read about those wheels is the bolts coming out.

I'm pleased you choose to have SSD wheels as your first set of aftermarket wheels. Hopefully the first of many "thumbsup"



We pack spare screws with each wheel pair (always have). It's not been a major issue really.



I have sample silver one, just didn't look that great. Silver doesn't always work on all designs. Black also hides some designs. That'a why I often dont do all wheels in all colors. Anyway will give it some thought...

I can confirm this has never been an issue for me. I've never lost a beadlock screw on an SSD wheel. I assume they come with thread lock from the factory because I've never done it myself. And including spare screws is a very nice touch.

No. As far as I have found LURC rings only work on LURC wheels.

I believe the lurc rings fit the axial wheels with 6 bolt ring.

Anyhow, I'm usually not a fan of these style wheels for crawlers but I am diggin it in the bronze!

What size bolt holds the hub in place? Is it same threads as the SLW. Or is it Metric? I want to get acorn bolts for the hubs.

Stock hubs are M2.5.

You can use Locked Up M2.5 acorn nuts and set screws with the stock hubs or switch to SLW hubs and use 4-40 scale lugs. SSD also mentioned coming out with some scale hub bolts but I don't know when that is happening.
