Default Which BFGoodrich KO2 tire to get?

Looking at getting a new set of scale rubber for my TRX-4 Blazer. Which one to get Proline? Axial? RC4wd? Really wanting so can paint the letters white. Kinda silly I know but always been a fan of them!

As far as my knowledge goes.. I own the Axial version. It's quite wide for that type of tire and tire height. I have other Proline tires, both g8 and predator compound. I would say, hands down, Proline rubber compounds are better than Axial R35.
As for RC4WD, I can only say that out of 10 separate tires (not sets) I have from them, half of them have been stretched on one side/uneven, like they've been melted. So I can never recommend rc4wd.

But.. Proline can be terrible to mount on anything but Proline wheels.

My suggestion: for performance and looks, go Proline, but then get Proline wheels as well. Otherwise, get Axial.

I agree with tjohanne. Get the Proline version because they are made from a much better rubber compound.

I disagree about the mounting though. I've fit Proline tires on wheels from pretty much every brand I can think of.

I’m looking at either mounting them on a stock blazer wheel or possibly a set of the RC4wd rally rims if I can find some in silver. Been leaning towards the Prolines all along. Just know they are a bit smaller than the stock tires.

The proline bfg’s are going to be a bit small on the blazer body. Also the Rally wheels caused my tires to rub the steering arms on my blazer. I was running OG pitt bull rock beasts.

It's my understanding you have to purchase a set of wider hexes to space the rallys out to fit on the trx4. At least thats what it says on RC4wds site. Also cant seem to find the silver version in stock anywhere. I guess I could paint a gold set silver but would rather not have to mess with doing that. Just curious how small the Proline BFG's will be. The stock Traxxas tires do seem a bit large at least to me. I guess we will find out.

I did that. Tires still rubbed. My proline BFG's measure at 4.25ish inches mounted on some SSD wheels.

What would you like pics of? My blazer with the K02's on it? I only have one mounted up on the SSD wheel right now as part of another project.

I think the Axials look perfect on my rig so I’m unsure what l will do with the Prolines.
