| Beadlock wheel rings
I see Traxxaz makes a pretty inexpensive, reasonable, beadlock wheel BUT the locking rings are like stupid expensive- NOW before I take the advice of some of the more experienced guys on the board, can I get a cheap set of metal rings to make the Traxxas beadlocks work? The cheap rings look almost universal (many holes on the ring) anyone have idea? Just want to make a good decision- Vic in SoCal

I do not know if any other brand beadlock rings are compatible with the Traxxas wheels. What I can say is that you'd be better off getting a set of SSD steel wheels - complete for $50. Or you can go on eBay and find very nice sets of aluminum beadlock wheels for around $40 shipped! SSD wheels are nice, especially for the price, can't go wrong.
