Default 2.2 tires and rims to fit Gen 8 without modifications?

I'm looking for 2.2 tires and rims to fit my Gen 8 but don't want to have to start doing any major mods other than raising the suspension and extending the chassis. Can you guys chime in and share your success in achieving this ? Thanks

I was looking at an inflatable beadlock combination that's stock on a wraith crawler but the tires were just over 2 " wide and thought those maybe too wide.

Most 2.2's will fit with no mods other than what you mentioned. But are you sure you want to raise your CoG that high? imo, 1.9 rigs with 2.2's look kind funny - but that's just my opinion - you do you!

And don't waste your money on the inflatables, they're horrible. Pneumatics don't scale down for RC because they're mass driven and our RC's are scaled down by size but not mass. They seem cool but they're either way too bouncy or the sidewalls fold over.

i am running 2.2 wheels on my gen8 but there vary small for a 2.2 the od is 5.1 the 4.75 tires just dident fill the wheel wells right in my opinion i tryed a set of 5.75 hyrax and ya the cog was way to high not so bad on the 5.1" tires though
im running my shocks in the middle holes and i removed the adjuster ring from the back shocks for some droop

there gona be to tall in my opinion and waiths dont have air filled tires the 2.1 inches wide wont be a issue but 5.5 tall will be

Ok so I think I have a better idea of what to look for then. I was almost considering putting the 2.2 tires and rims off a Everest 10 or a Rockslide on my truck. Thanks sooo much for the information.
