Default Tire suggestions/cutting

I'm trying to get back to a decade old 1/6 build but have always stumbled at tires and wheels.
Ideally I need 6.16 height and 2.08 width tires for a 2.8 wheel.
Most likely will have to pony up for motoworx 2.8 beadlocks.
So for tires, nothing fits the bill, all 2.8 tires are Traxxas style beads and off on dimensions.
So I'm thinking I'll have to go old school and cut-n-shut a set of tires, or graft sidewalls onto a carcass.
I'm thinking about the RC4WD 40 series Rock Crushers and cutting them down to a 2.8, but of course they're sold out everywhere.
Hopping someone might now of a tire that I haven't came across or a good frankentire idea.
