Proline 2 stage - Too Stiff? break in time?

Hi All,

I bought the proline 2 stage foams paired with pitbull rock beast 1.9 and they feel really stiff... and crawling... was tough.

Is there a break in period for the foams or should i consider trimming?

Did some reading, so the pitbulls outside diameter is 4.45 and PL are designed for 4.75 which i assume maybe is why it's feeling really stiff (didn't realize the significance of this before purchasing).

all input is welcomed!

Those foams are too stiff for the OG Pitbulls. Look into CI 4.25 Med/Firm or 4.5 Soft/Med for those tires.

Gotcha, is it worth trying to salvage by cutting or trimming?

I just went through the same thing. It turns out Proline does not make a 1.9 dual stage foam that fits anything with an od under 4.75 or so. I wound up ordering the Crawler Innovations Lil' Nova dual stage foams.

I would not recommend that. Save em for the future or sell them.

Bummer.

Deep woods OD are 4.66, i am thinking even for those tires i have, the PL 4.75 still too big?

I am reading that Proline foams are best for PL tires at 4.75?

I guess i could save if i ever decide to buy TSL g8 tires everyone talks about :(

I run PL foams in my 1.9 Deep Woods and it's a great combo. The tires are a bit bigger than 4.6, about the same size and Proline's 4.75 tires. "thumbsup"
