SSD wheels mount up fine. Use a little windex on the beads and they'll cinch right up.

I've run the on multiple different rims with no issues.

The only issue I'm aware of is that they've been known to be really difficult to get on to RC4WD beadlocks but there's a special ring available for that.

They probably go very well on SSD, as mentioned. Personally I prefer to use Proline's own wheels, that the best based on my own experiences (I've tried a lot of variations).

They also mount up just fine on the chanquish wheels. I haven't really had a problem mounting them on any wheel I own.

They suck to mount on my aluminum SSD wheels. Maybe they will so better with the SSD Steel wheels. Will try that next. After some time I have them all mounted up. The Proline 2 stage foam setup made them hard to get beaded up but in the front I have Crawler Innovations 4.50 Deuces Wild 2 stage and much easier since they don't push the tire out around he bead as far. The CI foams took me 5 minutes to bead up. Now performance wise well worth the hassle. First time out and not even broken in truck went up two areas I struggle with with ease and one area that I couldn't make but my buddies full out comp truck could make I made today with my stock chassis Gen8 with SSD weights on the wheels and brass diff cover so pretty happy with these tires and will only get better and better.

Hate to bump an old thread, but I have some new 2.2 Swamper XL tires and having trouble mounting on Axial Trail Ready HD beadlock wheels, 43mm wide. Without the foams they dont even come close to working.

Any newer wheel recommendations?

Recommended width?

SSD makes some 2.2" Pro-line specific wheels - they have blue internal rings, just look for the letters "PL" in the name of the wheel.

Example:

They will mount right up on any of the Chinquish wheels. I used the 35mm ones.
