Default How do you store you tires/wheels?

When you're taking them to competition or at home. Brown paper bag? Custom made bins? "Tupperware" at Walmart? Storage bins from the big box hardware stores?

If you are using store bought bins, I would be interested in where and what brand/model number. This way I don't have to bring my bag full of wheels to Walmart (or the like) and try fitting them to find the ideal bin size.

Just stacked in the closet at home.

If I take them out, they get thrown in whatever bag I'm taking

I either keep mine on the truck (which sits on a stand so I don't get flat spots) or I keep them together using one of the many DE Racing Zip Stix I have laying around.

On the days I am running my trucks I just grab what I want to use and put them in an old 4 6 pack beer box so they don't roll around in the back.

No issues with the tires drying out or anything like that, so I never considered bagging or boxing them.

I store them in Proline bags. They used to come with zip lock strips. Proline got too cheap and got rid of that strip so now their bags are just trash.

I should really store my tires in zip lock bags or airtight containers, but I don't always.

Good thoughts and ideas. My first worry is flat spots if I don't store then well. My second worry is exposure to air and deterioration (dry rot?).
