Default Pitbull Braven Berserker Anyone?

Anyone here running the Pitbull Braven Berserker tires on their rig? It seems in the full size world they’re used on UTV’s, but the stock tires that came on my Capo pictured below are a smidge too small for my taste, and the 2.2 Pitbull Rock Beast I was planning to use on it before I got it are stupid big even though this is suppose to be an ‘1/8th’ scale rig. The 2.2 Berserkers claim 5.1” tall which would be just about right if the numbers are close. So looking for some feedback on the Berserkers. Thanks

I run the 1.9 Berserkers Alien Kompound on my TRX4 Sport and I love them. They are very sticky and grab everything except damp wood.

I have a set in the2.2 or 5.1" size ive had them for a while now I think they still need breaking in though they aren't what I expected them to be I've only used them on dry rock so far were almost every tire works these don't do any better than cheap overseas brandless tires the funny thing is my braven ironsides almost the same tire is stickie as snot so I don't know what's up im hopin they just need more break in time
I'm my opinion look for a prioline tire that's closer to the size you want you will save enuff to buy rims too for the same $$$$
Also jconcepts makes a tire that's almost as tall 4.9 or something like that and people seem to like there tires well I do anyway

If you do pick them up let us know what you think there isent alot of info being shared on these yet

Interesting between you and Max’s experience, I wonder if the 2.2 are a different compound than the 1.9. Anyhoo I went ahead and ordered a set of the 2.2’s and will post a thread on them after I run em for others wondering like I did. This particular JK though I’m not gonna get crazy with on the rocks .. it’s more of just a trail rig, but I’ll throw the Beserkers on my Wraith too and really put it to its paces to give the 2.2’s a good testing on various terrain (except wet since we don’t get rain here in So.Cal. anymore 😡 lol) Thanks Guys. Anybody else care to chime in?

I run a set of the 1.9's on my Ascender Bronco. They are in Alien compound. They perform well, especially on rock. Certainly look great and complement a relatively true to scale appearance. Would love to see Proline produce these in other sizes. I have been running mostly their XL's lately for the clearance advantage.

Edit: just realized that I incorrectly referred to the Berserker as a Proline tire, which it is obviously not. Just wanted to clarify that

Those 1.9 Berserkers look perfect on your Bronco I have a custom painted Pro-line Bronco body on an old school Vanquish’d out SCX10 chassis that turned into a shelf queen, your pics inspire me to get it off the shelf and actually run it .. which I never have Thanks for chiming in and Merry Christmas!

Thank you, the old Bronco bodies are cool. If you have a pic handy you should show that Bronco off, would love to see it. I seems pretty normal for rigs to find the shelf once something new and impressive shows up in the collection.

Merry Christmas to you as well!

I’ll dig it out this weekend and try and throw some pics up, it’s got the very first generation of Vanquish axles, tranny, dig, etc. in it .. all still in unused new condition, so it might be cool for nostalgia sake for some of the younger generation here to see.

I use the 2.2 Berserkers on one of my competition trucks. I wasn't all that happy with them at first, but after getting them broken in they work great. Probably my favorite tire right now due to the size, as a lot of 2.2 tires are just too big.

Does this truck have a 313mm wheelbase? Do you have a build thread? I dig this truck!

Yes awesome truck, the tires look great, and I’m glad they finally worked good once broken in. What did you end up using for foams in em? Mine arrived a couple days ago but I can’t mount them cause I lost my beadlock scale bolt socket arghhh, so now I gotta wait till the middle of next week to get the new socket tool. Thanks for posting the pic and report

Build thread is here: Gspeed/TGH/Enduro build for class 3

I think my wheelbase is around 12.75".

Thanks. I'm using CI Double Deuce 5.25 with soft and medium outers. The tread blocks are all feathered from use, and they didn't really come alive until that happened.

Here you go, Capo JK Max with Beserkers. They are slightly bigger then stock and seem to fill out the wheel wells better.
