Default Wheel width & tire compatability

I'm going to be purchasing a set of the CI wheels in 2.2. They come in 1" & 1.5" widths. I want to run them with rc4wd genius tires that are 1.7" wide. What width is better? This is for a trail truck, that's going to be about 5 pounds. Any advice is appreciated.

1" is perfect but be careful with those tires. The sidewalls are beyond paper thin and fragile as can be.
