Default Are these an actual 1:1 wheel?

Ignorant question I guess, but in all my years involved in full-size off-roading and even further back than that, I just don't remember ever seeing this exact design. I might have, I just don't remember.

Anyway... I'm looking for something in a 1.7" without breaking the bank and these are towards the cheaper end of the spectrum. BUT I don't want a wheel that doesn't come from a full-size version... or even one that is so obsolete that no one would recognize them.

Thanks for any insight.

Thanks man. I appreciate the info. I'm sure I must've seen em somewhere at some point but seems that before bead-locks got big, that most of what I'd see were nomads, outlaws, landies, slots, etc.. Maybe not that many people were running them in the 80's and 90's. or maybe I just don't remember seeing em.

They did a decent replica of the Yota rims.

I searched "images" for them and didn't see either of those pics. Really helps to see em on the hilux especially since these would be for my "demarlinized" tf2. It's between these and the typical stamped wagons but man.. those are just so common that I haven't pulled the trigger on em. I'm leaning more towards these six-point stars now that I'm able to see em on that yota. They look decent and definitely not as common as white wagons. And knowing that they're legit almost seals the deal.

I never thought I'd see a set of four 1.7" wheels going for $113... like Racelines and Walker Evans. The wagons in white, black, clear, or chrome are $62 a set and the six-points are $70.

Thanks, 58_Willys for helping out here.

I just posted some 1.7's in the FS section.

I picked up a set of the chrome ones when they first came out because I want to do something like this...I would like to see proline or RC4WD come out with some smaller BFG A/T's, in the 3.4-3.6 inch range. Not much use crawling but an awesome scale look.

This is why I love RC4WD. they take actual good tread patterns in 1:1 and put them in realistic scale sizes like this. 4.75s are cool and all and I get why a lot of companies focus on that size, but some of us have scale builds and we want some good looking tires for them. I’ll probably be picking up a set of these KO2s for my suburban build(which I need to get some progress done by the way!)

Thanks Durok, I didn’t even know those were a thing until just now.

Oh man Toyota FJ40 what a legend... bit late to the party but yes those are original steel rims of that Toyota series, great for off-road coz they bend, not like aluminum they break

It's funny or kinda sad... I've been involved in not only off-roading but been a big Toyota fan far back as I can remember. One of my first vehicles was an FJ and since then I've had three Tacoma's and built four Jeeps... racked up endless miles on trails and rock-crawling, gone to countless off-road events, was a KOH fanatic... all of that and here I am in my old age asking if these wheels are legit!

I think I need to hire a nurse ( preferably a hot one) to not only wipe my drool but also to smack me around and scold me for not recognizing such an iconic wheel. Old age really is a b!tch, I guess... for the body as well as the mind.
