drive style, rigs, and alot more changes things offcourse. Humidy, Nature and so on. Many dont like the Predators in heavy rigs i have read. Predators are maybe best for very slow hardcore crawling. And poor if you do alot fast trailing also. Then the G8 must be much better. I will buy one G8 set up later to my pure trailrig. Or try different brand maybe also. Quote:
Thank you for advices and help ferp420 |

G8 are the best all-around compound in my opinion. they wear like iron and have excellent grip. The softer compounds like Predator tend to get too squirmy in hot weather and I run light rigs. |

at all  These can be VERY hot !! Predators must be slimy when very hot i think. I need buy G8 ones now. Early mornings cold sand, stones, then Predator will be great, Also early spring, and autumn. G8 maybe hot summer days. will be fun compare G8 to Predator in different conditions. G8 last also alot longer i have read somewhere? These are expensive tires, G8 are worth the price because they last longer? Predators must be best maybe in normal and chill temps? Best have both if you live like me, cold spring, cold autumn/winter. Hot summers. Thank you |

Re: Hyrax Predator VS Trencher Predator Must say these 2.2 Hyrax Predators are very good. Grip is Mental Like Night and Day compared to RTR tires. Picture today after Wash https://i.ibb.co/jbJjygR/20230627-6.jpg |
Re: Hyrax Predator VS Trencher Predator these are normal Predator Hyrax 2.2 and Rims looks tiny. Happy they have made 2.2" G8 only 5.25" tall. Will buy these to my 6x6 build and have 2.2" G8 will be great at trails and in 6x6 to crawling also 1.9 rims are way too tiny in light weight 4wd rigs i like to have Super-Soft , Hyrax Predator "thumbsup" |
