Fake beadlock rings?

How do you make fake beadlock rings? How do you attach them? Would CA glue work? How thick aluminum? Any techniques? Can you get a hole saw 2.2in in diameter? Sorry for all the questions

just paint the outter ring of your wheel. If you are looking for rings that are much "thicker", then yes, just glue them onto the outter ring of your wheel.

Thanks, I just made some using a 2.5in hole saw, a 1.25in hole saw and .90" aluminum

Hmmm.... that might look kinda cool, though, it would scratch off as soon as you went crawling.

i think he was talking about the outer ring comming off if you snagged it on a rock with only being glued..Im in the process now of trying to make some. i have talked with skipster about making me some and may just go that route instead of the hassle. looks like he does great work and not expensive at all either..just depends on what mine looks like after im finally done hacking away at it

thery're attached with screws that dont go into the rim but push out and secure the ring to the rim. they arent functional but look cool!

Re: Fake beadlock rings?

could you use some large washers (3.5" od ? id) and drill them out to fit the maximizer beadlocks?
