Default junfac mudrocks v.s. axial rockster

I need help deceiding on junfac mudrock or axial rockster 2.2 beadlock wheels. They both look good, but I have heard mixed reviews on the axial wheels.

The axial hexes can spin on ya, I'd suggest checking out the modified axials by Insanerc. They look like the best bet for the money. All of David's work is top notch, you wont be disappointed.

axials hex spins
junfac rear bead wont hold mashers very well the rear beadlock is pretty bad all togther. I just ended up glueing mine they do look good. and the hex is stronger then the axial.
so where is the other because i wont vote for either unless all you are worried about is cost. then go junfac.

I have the Axials, I hate the small azz ring screws. I'd go for the Junfacs.

I have several sets of the Axial's and they suck. The hexes round / strip. I would recommend saving your money if at all possible and buy a quality set of bead locks. The MSD's are very nice bead locks and so are Erickson's. You get what you pay for. If money is a problem, buy the Junfac's. Otherwise, be patient and purchase a quality set and be done with it.

Anybody else know about this. I heard they were going to change/fix them. Did they?

I voted for the Junfac Mudrocks. I just got mine in and put some 2.2 Slingers on them and I have to say I like they way they are made. The 8 3mm button head screws hold the bead down really well! I haven't had a chance to put them thru amy offroad abuse yet but I'm still trying to complete my AX10 Scout. SO as soon as I do I'll thrash them as soon as I can. The axials are good but the tiny screws don't impress me and thet seem to strip easy in the plastic...I do own three different sets though!

I didnt vote. I've seen both strip hex's. I have 2 sets of MSD and 1 set of RC4wd. I can run plastic hex's and they dont slip in either wheel. Both hold beads well. 2 times the cost of plastic ones but they dont strip. You get when you pay for.

I have a couple of Junfac sets, and they have held up great, i also have one set of axial wheels, they came with ax-10 kit, i haven't stripped them yet, but just by installing them on the hexes you can see the axial's have some play once installed, while the junfac fit snuggly on the hex.

Never tried the Axial's but have a set of Junfac Challengers and the hex is very well built...nice and thick...I haven't had any issues.....the beadlock screws are twice as big as the Axial's....a lot easier to mount.

I have owned pretty much every BL wheel made, and as far as the plastic BL wheels go, I like the junfac's over the axials because of the far better hex area. Even if the newer axials with the updated hex area hold up, i would still choose the junfacs because i think they look better, and are super easy to narrow.

I have a set of Xtremes Axiels that have been narrowed and have reinforced hexes, they are bullet proof David does a really nice job. Mounting tires on Axiels is very easy a great fit every time. I don't even completely remove the rock rings all the screws stay in place. I can mount tires on my Axiels rims faster than any other beadlocks I have. I do not have any Junfacs yet.

Default maybe rc4wr?

Thanks for the info, I still haven't deceided, but since both wheels seem to have issued I may save my beer money a little longer and splerge on the rc4wd super narrow beadlock wheels.

That sounds like a great idea. I would buy the MSD aluminum beadlocks. They are cheaper in price and great quality.

I went for the Mudrocks and I love them. I had built up a Scopion for my father-in-law and found the small screws on the Axials to be a pain.
