post your procedures for holding parts??

Please post how you guys are holding parts while brazing?

Well,I don't do any brazing but when welding little parts I sometimes use little bench vises. You can get tiny bench vises(like 2 or 3" jaws) at most hardware or tool supply stores.

Tack it with a mig then braze it to make it look nice.

small tack with a mig, then braze, then grind with a dremel to get off the flux and to grind the tack down a bit

Hot water will clean that flux off.

Otherwise the chassis will be all sticky/gummy after a while.

I use welding magnets, bailing wire, little c-clamps, and scraps of steel sheet or other pieces as needed.
