| My dremel
I just wanted to pay omage to my dremel..... without it, this crawling hobby would not be possible.... we really have been through the thick and the thin together..... if you have a special tool you want to show your appreciation for, let the world know right here and now lol

I have two Dremels in my shop and two high speed air grinders. Without them, I would be lost My favorite shop tool is my home made 5hp belt grinder. I do everything with it. Deburring, shaping, sanding, sharpening.......it's a poor mans freehand milling machine It's got unlimited power and changing belts only takes a second. I have other, more refined belt grinders for my knife blades, this one is the workhorse!! Last edited by FL Knifemaker; 07-15-2008 at 04:46 PM. |

My mini lathe is my favourite tool for sure. I havnt had it long and I dont have a lot of tooling for it yet but I love it. My most used tool is probably a cordless drill. I used it for everything (before the lathe): cutting althread, cutting tubing, deburring, shaping, drilling. You would be amazed at how nice a link can look after chucking the separate pieces in a drill and grinding while spinning. |
