| So far its holding within 2 or 3 thousanths. I am pushing the feed rate pretty hard, taking full thickness cuts in .125 delrin at 150 ipm with a single flute carbide bit at 25,000rpm. It pushes off alittle at those speeds, slow it down a bit and it holds verywell for being an open loop cnc. I have the closed loop sensor on order, that will dial it in. I'm still getting comfortable with the software, its a little quirky compared to gibbs cam. |

CNC machines are fun,and scarey somtimes,the Kitamura I run can rapid at 2800 inches a minute. And ,no it's not in my basement.We do get to spend 50 to 70 hours a week together though. |
