What is that exactly and what will it cut?? It looks like a smaller version of my friends CNC Plasma Cutter.

I have CNC milling machine in my garage, not my basement

Did you get some child labor to feed in the raw stock? Do you pay her with candy? I guess her job is better then mine, I heard she gets a sweet Corvette as a company car.

Mine only makes knife parts. Whenever it makes guitar parts, gun parts, RC Car parts, chopper parts or hotrod parts, it looses money

That looks like it was put together with an erector set...

So what kind of cutting will it do? And is that a Ryobi dremel attached to it?

Ya gotta love Mach3. Not gonna post my homebrew cnc, but I'm looking forward to getting/building something that will hold .010 tolerance.

This is mine when it first arrived, notice the walls are still clean
It's a little bigger than Bridgeport size at the base, same type of head. I can also use it like a manual machine. The display has a manual DRO screen. The ball screws make it super smooth when you turn the cranks by hand. The axis can be locked by the keypad if needed. The reason I bought this machine is the Z axis drives the knee. Most use the quill for Z which prevents using the machine manually and limits the Z range to only about 5 inches :(

you can build one for around $500, or buy one like you see here in the pics for $2000 to $10,000. there's some good information at cnczone.com if you're serious about getting into it.

Did you buy a kit, or is it completely DIY?
Looks good!
