Default Craftsman drill?

Is there a lifetime warranty on power tools too or just hand tools? My drill motor just went out.

Can you open it up and look inside? Could be something simple as worn brushes.

I think even the power tools carry a 1 year warranty. Is it a corded drill or cordless? If its a cordless, at least you could recycle the batteries into your crawler

Used to work there over ten years ago when they stopped the warranty replacement. You could have bought a replacement warranty for 2 years at the time of purchase that would have covered it from casual and not industrial use. then you could have had it replaced. Other than that it is a door stop.

life time is on hand tool's only if it has been under a year since purchase they should cover it. if it is a current model just take it in and see if they can warranty it out for you. receipt what receipt it was a gift.
