Default what aluminum for milling?

well im building a set of hexes for my stampede (17mm hex instead of 12mm) and im wondering what aluminum to use for the hexes. im wanting to get it done in cad then done by a computerized machine but its probly going to be done by hand with a manual milling machine.

ill either do it myself or get a local machine shop to do a set (or 2) if the price isnt very bad.

I'd use either 2024 or 7075 for a nice combination of machinability and strength.
