Has anyone ever done shocks? Will stripping the anodizing from the inside effect how smooth it operates? I tried just spraying the Easy Off heavy duty on the outside and let it sit for 10-15 minutes and it only faded the anodizing. Didn't strip it. I was trying to keep from soaking so that it doesn't mess up the inside but I think I might just have to give it a try?
