My buddys at SMRCRC wanted me to show them how the NWARC made our indoor course. So I thought sence I was making a couple of new cubes for the course, I would share. It's a little long, sorry.

Yeah now that's a good demonstration Ricky and I just need a test rock in the shop

But you must be clairvoyant cuz I was just going to ask you how the wire was attached to the foam.

Next weekend I'm taking the two cubes I got going in the garage to HobbyTown, I'm going to get the foam I have stashed there and bring home to make 2 more cubes. I'll make one then. It's not hard but there's a couple of tricks that would help a guy out.

What nice about these cubes ,you can lean them up and make them a lot harder to crawl.

Nice video Ricky, how well do those courses hold up with that real thin layer of mud on them?

Thanks ,They should do good, it's any where from a 1/2 to 3/4 thick. They have been running on some we made at HobbyTown for a couple of weeks with no trouble. I'm taking the 2 I'm making there next week for our 1st real comp on them. I guess we'll see.
It's a real rich mix and none of the cubes have cracked yet so thats a good sign.

If you do it right you nasty boy you.

But for real, if you put the mud on the ground, the water thats in the mud would go in the ground. Being that I put the mud on the foam ,the water has to come up. So it gets wetter before it gets hard.
On hot days in the summer I sometimes put plastic on the ground and then pour on it to buy me time to finish it .

18.5 minutes video... kind of like watching concrete dry! (sorry, couldn't resist!)

It's actually a very good and thorough video and the end result looks nice.

How much does that table weigh? Is it still somewhat portable?

I'm not sure how much it weights 2 guys can pick it up and move it. After I drop it off at the Hobby store, we sat it on a concrete floor and then you could push it around. It don't move when your cralwing on it.

sorry about the long video.

Thumbs up YOU the MAN' - Ricky and I said that awhile back too.

Thank's for posting the link' to this awesome Vid' for us all to View as well brotha'. I tore up my indoor course that was down in my own basement and haul'd all the real rock's back up stair to make an outdoor course with them all. But the bug's have been so' bad this summer that I could hardly enjoy it. So now I'm going to haul it all back down there again and start a whole new project going into this long winter. and I see now just how to build some awesome section's of fake rock' just as you have shown us with this Vid' of your's. Thank's bro. And it was nice to put a face of alot of your older step by step pic's and this here vid' as well. Was nice to holla' at you again to brotha' ricky. ~ol'Scoot'er~
