Does 3D make you over complicate things, or is it just me?

Couple ways really. I have a program to print my files to PDF files which i can save as JPGs. Then just host them like normal pics.

Or, you can hit PrtScn on your keyboard and it will copy whats on your screen. Then go into a photo editing program and paste the image there and save it. then host like a normal photo.

This is the latest home project I have been working on. putting a paintball gun into my RC tank. I've got the gun modeled but haven't went any further. I'm having problems making the speed control for the motors.

Stock exploded view of the gun. I only put in details that would matter in mounting the gun to the turret.

This is what it's being stripped down to.

It was drawn in AutoCAD R14 and rendered in Cinema 4D XL

If i knew all the exact dimensions it would take a few hours. The hard part is getting the dimensions. Because of that it took about 6-7 hours.

draw or make? make they are easy after you get the tooling made

draw? yes, they sucked. They aren't perfect either. Good enough for general placement.

I'll send you the axles if you like but I rather keep the chassis files.
