Default Kobalt Hobby Tools!?!

So, I've been checking out these tools at Lowe's Here is a link to the line up. The only problem is they really don't have metric, and hex drivers.

It would be nice if they could get the metric and hex heads in.

Cool. But in my experiences, you are better off staying away from those bit type sets for more than occasional use. All it takes is one slip and a screw or bit is junk. I would rather spend a little more money and get a HSS hex driver and a good set of screwdrivers, and hex wrenches.. and nutdrivers.

I have a set of the Kobalt micro screwdrivers that come in a black zipper case, and they have a funny cut on them unlike any other small screwdrivers i have. They seem to strip out screws very easy, so i dont use them much anymore.

I use Kobalt at work (I am a service tech) and they work absolutley perfect, but for hobby I would go with the experts in hobby tools. I like Huddy dosen't mean I can afford them lol but I like them. I actually use RD Logics and they are great.

If you want a good in expensive set of hex drives get the Integys, but dont get the mini handle get the big handle ones they will get the job done, if you want to drop some money go with hudy tools.

Hudys are nice... I have set here that I have been using for about 8 years... really very little wear except at the base of the handle...

If you know you will be playing with RCs for a while... might as well spend the extra few bucks it'll make a difference 10 years down the road!

What's the length on these drivers? I use dynamites right now and I'm happy with them except for how short they are.

Thanks!

I am pretty sure they are around 5" I will measure them tomorrow and edit the post, but they are almost the length of my screwdrivers and they are 5".
