I'm pretty happy with it for 14$, and some have found it for 12$ on eBay if you look hard enough.

I just need a better mounting location. It was a last minute thought to mount it.

Question on the keychain cam. I just got my 2nd one and I get a usb error in windows. Im using my first ones memory card but I havent charged it yet, but the usb plugged in is supposed to charge it anyways. It just flashes yellow. It will take pics with my old card in it, just wont come up on the computer.

I dont have another card yet, and the card works on my old camera and that connects to the computer just fine.

Does it need to charge more, or is the card somehow tied to the first camera. I bought this for a friend and I figured they can get the memory card I was just going to set the time and date for them using my card.

Still gets usb error but now light is solid yellow plugged into computer

The original works great as a hat cam
here is a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZF0lvPQQCSQ

Tried another computer and it works on that one, later I will try back on the first computer.

I have an "epic" camera that my parents bought for me for motorcross...

If the image comes out clear mounted on my handlebars I think it will make a good crawler cam.

When I build my honcho I'll mount it up and get you guys some video!

I just got mine from InFlames on here.

It works good, hard to understand the "chinglish" instructions though...

Just snagged a key-fob shaped camera off ebay for $8.60 including shipping.
Looking forward to getting it and trying it out.

On a side note. These things must be cheaper than dirt to manufacture. I know shipping is probably a couple bucks, so lets say there is 5 bucks left for the item itself. The ebay sellers cant be paying over 2 or 3 dollars for one...

I really like the idea of running a camera with my crawler, well I guess I could just watch some on you tube and save some money, and I like the one from hoppymart very small and useable.

So most everyone seems to be using cheap clip on camera, which actually has pretty good video... i need to hide a camera, power plug in wall though that sucks.
if im hearing right 9-v only lasts 1hr

I love the GoPro because it's not too small to use it on other things as well. I use mine on my helmet for Motocross, mt. bike, skiing, street bike, etc... I use it with the suction cup or bar mount on my 1:1 truck, boat or on my dad's 57 speedster for cruises along the coast or mt. roads. Plus like Toyofast said, it's stupid how durable it is. It's hard to beat it.

My videos

I also have the key fob cam, but haven't used it much yet.

After reading some of the posts on here about the key chain cam, I went on ebay and checked out what was available. I decided on this one,

http://cgi.ebay.com/Micro-DV-HIDDEN-...item230733c6f5

It's basically a knock off of the venom sports cam but is a little bit smaller. I got it yesterday and it only took about a week to get here from hong kong. I tested it out on my crawler and for being 14 bucks with free shipping the video quality is really good. The mounting brackets it comes with are pretty decent as well.

The video is pretty smooth although i wouldn't strap it to anything but a crawler. Just thought i would share that with anyone looking for a cheap camera for a crawler. The link i posted from Ebay is the seller i bought from. Hope this helps .
