that sounds like oven cleaner to me, but it should work. Just stinks a lot more then greased lighting.

I used purple power, same ingrediant as greased lightning.Worked great on the beadlocks! take about 40 to 60 min to remove all of the annidizing.

Great Tip for removing anodizing SAFELY and with minimal negative effects to the Aluminum !

Everyone has their own favorite Aluminum polishes.......In the past I've had to polish quite a few sets of 15"x14" WIDE Weld Wheels....on my trucks that got USED alot....so it was very important to find a polish that worked well.

Quite a few years back....while at a 4x4 event that is well known called the "JAMBOREE".....II ran into the guy who makes/owns/sells a polish that is pretty awesome.

It's now called BUSCH SUPER SHINE ALUMINUM POLISH.

Try it out....and see for yourself.

I was converted after the first 10 minutes that I used it.

Highly oxidized wheels that normally took me about an hour to get their shine back......(when doing it all by hand).......now only took me about 15 minutes !

Thanks for the great tips....as always !
