I have been using paintball grease, it is known as dow corning 55 great for high temperatures and even better for low temperatures. Been using it in my B4 for years.. I have yet to try it in my crawler parts.

Had axle grease in it for 2 months..... taking it out today. No signs of any breakdown of the plastic.

Putting in Mil-Comm TW25B Synthetic as thats what I have on hand.

Says its harmless to plastic, rubber and composite parts.

Default Super Lube Multipurpose Grease

I am going to check locally for Super Lube Multipurpose Grease with PTFE and see what the price is. $8 for 3oz on Amazon.
I emailed them and the rep replied the same day with the link to its compatibility with plastics (below). Might give it a try.

x2 on the Mobil 1 Synthetic grease. Thats what I use on all my airsoft stuff and now on my crawler. Never had a problem. Fairly cheap too!

Which one of these can be used in plastic axles with plastic gears? (MaxStone 8 crawler)

Thanks!

I'm using Green Grease in my wraith. I filled an old turkey injector with it and cut the tip off the metal injector. Works well in getting into small places.

Everything I've read says it's safe for use on plastics.

You can get it at any auto parts store.

Well that green grease smells like it has gasoline in it, I'm a bit hesitant to open the rest of the tubes. I always remember when servicing plastic toys/gears the factory grease has no smell at all. Its interesting how there is no mention of the ingredients or plastic safe specified on the labels. I ordered some "Gear Science Performance RC Gear Gel" so hopefuly that wont smell like petrol lol. The rest are probably going back for refund. I did see DJM's clip on youtube stuffing that axle with the marine grease. We'll see how that gel looks, its on the way.
