| 1/4" or 5/16" delrin for steering links?
Just wondering what i should use. I was going to order some 1/4", the sie would be right, to save ground clearance, but would it be strong enough? However i have 5/16" already, but it seems a little to beefy for steering links...

I've been running 1/4" tubing on steering links for quite a while with no issues.

I run the 5/16th on both my Axial and my Bully with no issues. The axial takes a small bit of work to get it not to hit the diff housing at full lock. It will work though. The 1/4th seems like it would be to week in delrin for a high powered servo... -Jason |

Dude.....look at mine on Saturday at the comp. 1/4" is too bendy by itself. 5/16" is kinda bulky. 1/4" Delrin filled with 4mm threaded hardened steel and finished with REVO ends. SUPER STRONG & THIN & still SLICK if they touch a rock. |

Yah, 14" is way too bendy, I'd use it for upper links at the most, 5/16" everywhere else.
