| Harris saftey silv 56
I have searched and I am sure it has been asked a hundred times, but here it is again, Where is the best place to buy harris 56 online? weldingsupply.com has 1 troy once with shipping at 33. I have tried all local shops and they are more money, which is ok, but none of them stock it. So I can wait for them to get it in and pay more or just order some myself. Thanks again.

I get my supplies from weldingsupply.com. I have good results with the 45 though and it's a little less money than the 56.

Yep - mapp gas a cheapo home depot torch. I'm looking into a smith mini torch right now since my builds have evolved into more detailed designs, but I have no issues using the mapp gas the the 45. I buy mine 5 t.o at a time since it's quite a bit cheaper per unit and the stuff lasts forever.

I use 45 and it works great. I use this torch http://www.lowes.com/pd_128828-717-2...Ntk=i_products Make sure you get some good harris stay silv black flux also. I have built quite a few pretty intricate things using these supplies and never once had an issue. |

Awesome, This is all very helpful and I know its been talked about before but a little refresher never hurt. One last thing, I just bought some stay silv WHITE flux because I read that from another thread, is it going to work or do I need to get black? Thanks again.
