Default drawing pad input device

Do any of you use a drawing tablet? if so witch one. My daughter wants one for x-mas.

I found these 2 on tiger direct, but I know nothing about these.

She wants to use it to draw pictures on. Right now she needs to scan everything she does.

Thanks for any input.

I have really never used one but I was planning on getting one and with my research Wacom (brand) is just about the only way to go. They are more expensive. Depends on how much it will be used.

Check out the bamboo on on amazon
These are nice from what I hear. $57, cant go bad with that.
Also this one has more software, for $89. I would go with this one the software alone would hit almost $300 separately.

I have a Wacom Bamboo that I use for occasional photo editing. Works great. If you have a Mac it's even better, because OSX recognizes gestures and such from tablets so you can use it like a mouse and keyboard.

I bought my daughter the Wacom Bambo last Christmas, she loves it.
It's very basic but if she has photoshop I'm pretty sure the pressure sensitive input works.

Wacom is the number 1 brand in tablets... we use them at work... actually every company I've worked for that uses tablets uses Wacoms.

Wacom Bamboo works fine for occasional work. It is a bit small but good for photo touchups and basic art work.
