aluminium plates

I'm building my Honcho . Just received 3Racing winch in mail.
Does anyone have any measurements for cutting aluminium plates?
What is the best method for cutting?

I use tin snips from the hardware store,or you can break out the dremel.

i usually use a jigsaw or even a hacksaw with a fine blade. back the plate up with some old plywood or something that will stop it bending when you cut.

get some decent files and wet and dry to finish it off

I use a vertical milling machine.Somtimes I use the Bridgeport mill somtimes the Kitamura CNC,depends on the job.

I use the aluminum found in the airplane sections of hobby stores. I score it with a razor blade and then bend it and it breaks clean.

I should have mentioned it's the stock aluminum plates from the Honcho bumper. I dont know what the thickness is...
I know lots of people have cut them for winches. Curious to see what worked best.
