Default Can i narrow AX10 axles?

Does anyone know of a way to narrow Ax10 axles so they tuck under the body a little better?

@ cmyers1
im hoping to get them to exactly the same with as TLT axles because axial ones are cheaper and more scale looking. im going to use them on a landrover styrene body by New Bright that i picked up recently.
@ El Matador
do you remember when it was origionally posted or by who?

You may be able to get away with some really deep offset wheels to achieve the narrow stance.

Also, some Beef Toobs may make narrowing the axles easier, you should be able to trim some material off the inner end that goes towards the ring and pinion and then redrill and shave down the axle cases to get the knuckles to fit. Plus they will add a lot of strength.

Iam not sure the Beef Tubes would work because of the piece that attaches the two axle pieces together. Cool project for a rainy day
