| Axle drain plug
I'm building an SCX10. I've seen people drill a hole in the axle to grease the gears, using a screw to plug the hole. I'd like to make it more scale and use a m4 x 4mm set screw to plug the hole. Since the set screw isn't self-tapping, what drill bit would I use for this? Any thoughts? Am I crazy? |

We could always find some scrap plastic and make some test holes and see what works best..

Heres a decent chart a quick google search pulled up for me, http://www.shender4.com/thread_chart.htm Sounds like a cool idea, I would use a drop of blue loc-tite just to be sure it doesn't vibrate itself into the case though. |
