| Rckcrwlr's New Craftsman 18" Cantilever Parts Organizer
On a quest to better organize all the parts for this hobby, I am always looking for something new. I was perusing Sears tonight and found this gem. It is a Craftsman 18" Cantilever Parts Organizer. What is so special about this? Looks like a normal tool box...Or does it? Introducing the Cantilever... There are 6 Large removable containers on the bottom... And 12 Small Removable Containers on the top... The nice thing about it is when the handle is in the upright position, the cantilevers won't open. They have also included legs on the top shelf so it will not tip over when opened. |

Pretty cool for a field box. Too bad it's made in Israel! Pretty bad when even Craftsman is Killing American jobs! |

Home depot has one just like it but black and gray. Plus they have a larger one for like 29 bucks I carry at work for parts.

Nice find. I actually found a bin like that at harbor freight a few weeks ago. its basically just the top part, but was only 3 dollars. But the removable bins are really nice for getting the small parts out without dumping everything on the ground. |

Canadian Tire here has them, but wondered about if smaller parts get mixed around from bin to bin when its closed and being carried?

I am guessing that if you don't turn it upside down, they will stay where they belong...but I will verify. | |

I use a couple of these at work, theyre ok but small parts do wander around from bin to bin, my solution was to add lips to the upper bins. All I did was use fuel tubing on the top edge of a couple of the bins to make a kid of seal against the lid when its closed, keeps the small stuff where I put it for the most part |
