Default My Parts Tray

I've had this chunk of Delrin sitting around for awhile. I've always been inspired by Krawler Konceptz Delrin Parts Trays, so I tossed this onto the mill during lunch. The shock stands didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I didn't have any shocks on hand to measure. You get the idea though, and with the way my bench is organized, anything helps when I'm pulling something apart.

That's cool looking.
If it slides around on your workbench, a couple of those felt furniture feet might give it a little more traction.

I was going to try and find some of those stick-on rubber feet. It's 7/8" thick and pretty heavy...haven't used it yet, but it doesn't seem like it will slide too much.

Used it last night while rebuilding my XR-10 axles and not one bottle cap!

I'm out

My girlfriend makes jewelry and when she saw the first tray, I knew it wouldn't be long before it ended up on her bench, so I made one for her. These things are handier than a pocket on a shirt! Get in touch with Michelle if you don't have one...never realized how useful having screws and parts organized while you work can be.

The only thing I would change is making the cutouts a bit deeper, and the walls separating them a bit thinner. The walls on the second tray are thinner, so you can see what I'm talking about. If I ever get some extra cash, I want to get one of Michelle's magnetic trays for my field bag and a small mat from CowRC.

I love the way that turned out, nice use of spare material not being used.I envy you guys that have milling machines and know how to use them for the hobby, maybe I should have taken a course or two instead of joining up with the grunts and carrying a rifle and pack...

Hey I wanted that Delrin

Awesome idea, I love how you used scrap to make your own. I think I may get one of the Krawler Koncepts ones soon
