| DX3R screen cover
I have had my DX3R for two and a half years. I try to take care of it the best i could. I even left the plastic cover on the screen as long as i could. when it fell off, it started to get light scratches on it, mostly from wipeing the dust off it. one day i went to get my controller and it hit me???? I had it next to my iPOD 4 touch, the screen is about the same size. I bought a screen cover for my iPOD back in Sept. 2010, called Invisible shield from ZAGG for $21 and it has been worth the money I measured the iPOD and it was a little longer but width was just right. when i applyed the film, it actualy took away the very light scratches I had on it, like it was a new screen I have tryed different screen covers for my iPOD's in the past but none measured up to the Invisible shield from ZAGG, not even close IMO. it's also durable, invisible, scratch proof Just thought I would share this, might even work for other controllers also & the price dropped to $15 also |

Great tip I ruined my dx3r screen with nitro splatter and have since intalled cell phone screen protectors on all my radios when they are brand new. When I bought my Futaba 4pks, it included two precut screen protectors included in the package |

Yep, I've done the same thing on my 4PL. I had a spare cover for my 3G iPhone and it fits perfectly on the cover. The hole for the home button slips right over the antenna and you just have to trim a bit off of the bottom of the cover (where the mic is located).

I didn't think for a minute it would be that cheap ($10) my only problem with that, i would replace it every 2 years. @ $10 a pop, that would add up (i hate scratches) but now that i have it on, i like it. I'ts a little added security for an expensive radio (as far as scratches go) buy it once, call it done | |
