yes sir!!
USA MADE!!

my buddies at the lhs were using it when i walked in...
they all bought one and telling me how much simpler soldering connectors
are now..no more chasing the lead with soldering iron,or burning fingertips..

i always used needle nose pliers and rubber band, like was stated
in above post..

its made my soldering much more tolerable than a cussing fit..
= more time wheeling!

Yeah, this looks like a great little tool. My local Radio Shack is selling a set of helping hands with built-in magnifying glass for the same price. And theirs ain't made in the USA. No thanks. I'm in for one of these thingamajigs.

We recieved one of these in the mail at the shop as a sample. I didn't think much of it when I first saw it. This is such a nice tool to have. I use it on average 2-4 times a day. The holes in the top work great for bullet connectors and it will hold any connector. Ours didn't come with the clips and never thought of that. Definately will have to grab some of those. I know $25 sounds pricey for this but I think its well worth it

My helping hands holds the wire to the connector leaving my hands free to hold the solder and iron. As far as I can see this can't do that, or am I mistaken?

I dont think so, but if you tin wire and terminal correctly you shouldnt need more solder, just heat

When I make jst connectors I add solder after I crimp them. If I tinned them The wire wouldn't fit as well an the crimp wouldn't fit in the connector body.
