Default Brazing material

Hey guys...im building a scale crawler with my boy for the very first time.i never done brazing or build a tube cage yet but werevgoing to give it a shot,the only problem is we have are list of supplies and please tell me if its the correct supplies: harris safety-silver 45 brazing alloy,harris stay-silv flux?the only problem is we drove around today and we cant find it anywhere we tried our local plumbing supply company,hardware stores,lowes,home depot and autozone etc and NOTHING..does anyone here know of any websites to get these things?also the brake line i got is 3/16" but its the coated kind but i see some guys use non coated?none of the auto supply stores seem to carry it,is there aslo a website to get this tubing? Any help would be grately appreciated,he's getting all bummed out..thanks

I found the uncoated brake line at Napa. I wasn't able to find it at other auto supply stores though, they only had the coated stuff. I got my solder and flux through Acklands-Granger, they had to order it in for me, but it was in the next day. I'm in Canada though, not sure if you have Acklands where you are. Good luck! I just got all my supplies today and am hoping to have my first try at brazing this weekend.

We have napa but i have to find the nearest one,we dont have Acklands(i think?)never heard of them?i will try napa for the brake line and hopefully someone will give me some info on the other material.thanks for your help man

Check your yellow pages (do people still use those?) for a welding supply store in your area. They should be able to hook you up.

I got mine through Home Depot online. It was at the house in 3 days.
