Default Weldable "C" Channel Steel

Any good sources for "C" Channel steel for frame building? I was looking at McMaster Carr but their best is to buy square tube and bandsaw it down the middle. My bandsaw is just too old and inaccurate for that. At least for the 3 foot pieces. I might be able to get away with it on 8 to 12" pieces.

A more accurate way of cutting down the middle is to use a drill press with a cutoff wheel. Use the table as a fence.

CHUD is right, try it like this:

c channel chassis

Just feed the material gently so that the cutoff wheel doesn't deflect.

Great ideas guys, thank you very much, going to Lowes for a mandrel and a 5 pack of wheels this evening.

So then i bend it and drill it, then cut it. Sounds like a plan.
