Default soldering and tubing

Im kind of new to this stuff. what type of solder do you usually use and what size tubing do you use for a rollcage.

Soldering? For structural stuff, you need a "hard solder" which is either silver solder or brazing rod.
Neither of these can be done with a soldering gun/iron.

Harris Safety Silv & flux is the easiest bet since a normal gas torch (used for sweat fitting copper pipe) can deal with it. Brazing requires a bit more heat.

As to tubing 3/16th" steel brake line is a common size (use the uncoated stuff).
