Allen keys/drivers......... Soldering iron. Pliers. Nut drivers and/or spanners. Lexan Scissors. Body Reamer. That is just a few of the BASICS. Don't buy cheap. Invest in some good tools. They will last you longer and make your life MUCH easier. |

Thanks guys! Im taking notes for sure. Im a student in the field of electronics and instrumentation so some of these tools i already have. I just want to be prepared to take my crawler apart as the need arises. I figure a good Multimeter(Voltmeter) is a must have as well |

A versatile fanny pack to carry it all in. I take mine with me everywhere now, and it has everything I need in it from Zip-ties to extra hardware. Get used to working with only the tools in it while at home, and if you find yourself missing something, add it.

freakin hex driver set! Do not try putting your kit together with a set of allen keys. It will suck, you will curse, and you will almost give up. Speaking from experience! |

A cheap item I can't live without and would reccommend is a Razor blade... Single sided, whatever So many uses: stripping wires, cutting lexan, trimming facial hair, slitting wrists, etc |

Get some nice hex drivers, nut drivers, and needle nose pliers. Zip ties, and I use a pair of spruce cutters for cutting plastic parts.
