tips for bending titanium I'm looking at putting a bend in my TI links and I was wondering if there were any tips that will help. I friend mentioned that heat might help, but he wasn't sure. Thanks "thumbsup" |
I know they heat titanium lips on wheels to turn em multicolored so I'd say heat won't hurt em an should help w bending. |
Just bend it... you will need to exert a little more force on it but that is it. There will also be a slight bit of spring back so you will have to take it slow To get them precise. Don't use heat! |
Bend them with the power of your beard.:ror: |

That's funny! I usually just hit something really hard. Of course, controlling the bend is a little dicey. I usually end up having to try with new parts. :) Seriously, if you use heat, apply it carefully. The heating is not the problem. It is cooling once complete that can cause you headaches. Cooling too fast can make it brittle. |
The links bent with no issues and no heat applied. Thanks guys |
Awesome beard bending powa! |
