Default Dremel cutting wheel for metal?

Hi, I bought the wrong metal cutting wheel last time....it did not even dent the metal lol

is this the metal wheel that I need to cut an axial scx10 battery tray?

Yep, those will work. I use these too. I have cut with 'em too.

If you're cutting aluminum, you're almost better off to use a saw. I can cut through 3mm plate quicker and cleaner with a cheap little coping saw from Lowes than I can with a dremel.

Those will cut metal nicely but may take awhile to cut aluminum and aluminum gets super hot super fast!...good luck.

I agree. You get all kinds of debris thrown at you when using a rotary tool. Make sure your arms are covered. That $hit hurts sometimes.

With the battery tray and other thin aluminums I just ut the with my Tin Snips, much faster and easier. After I realized I could cut through much more then I thought with them I kick myself for all the time I wasted utting metal with my rotary tool.
