Default Braze-Weld OR JB weld an XR10 Axle

Should I braze, weld or JB weld a Axle together. I'm lenghening a XR10 axle 22mm or 0.86". I'm going to cut the shaft and install a sleeve over it.

How much over lap will I need? Like 3/8" on each end?

If I heat it up to braze it will it weaken it?

The JB weld would heat it up, but will it hold?

Brazing will be a lot stronger. Jbweld is cheaper. Guess it depends on how many times you'll possibly feel like cracking open the axles to fix should the jb fail.

Get it cut and ready and I can MIG, tig, or braze it for you

The more overlap you have the stronger we can make it
