| What's in your Toolbox?
Hi guys, I'm trying to put together a list of must have tools for the hobby. What recommendations do you have for us newbies too the hobby? I've been searching for a good electric handheld power screwdriver. Found a few good ones. But what about hex tools? These I can not find anywhere. What about a good hobby grade Dremel? And last but not least, I'm wanting to lean how too braze. What is a good non expensive torch setup? |

what toolbox? the one at the workbench, or the one that comes crawling/to the race track? everyone's tool box will be different, you will start to notice what you want, what you need and what you wish you had, build from there. a quality set of hex drivers is a MUST have. (I use integy drivers and love them) a decent screwdriver set, (you will probably move the ones you never use somewhere else) I use a multibit in my take out box since most stuff is hex anyway. needle nose pliers also a must. I try to have 2-3 packs of zip ties on hand, nothing worse then being 1-2 zip ties short. |
