Default Hardware

Not sure if this is the right place but i am having trouble finding hardware for my truck. I am looking for 4-40 machine screws in a package (found some at lowes in a bag) but i need more and lowes is like 45 minutes away. Anyplace online i can get them? Also what is a typical size for screws that hold the shock ends in the mounts? i had some 6-32 screws and they were to big, 4-40 were to small.

Ill check out the m3 screws. and thanks for the link. Problem is, all the local stores around here dont really offer a good selection of hardware and if they do its in odd sizes.

Is there any really good "sets" one could buy to cover most needs for the axial cars> Would like to have em all in one place instead of seperate packs.

It would be great if someone would offer a full set of the most commonly used on crawlers/scalers m3 hardware, like 100 each of several lengths. Id buy. NO stores here sell m3.

I've been getting mine from Chris. Good studs and it's nice to support a vendor.

Stainless 3mm screws!

I don't think I've seen a hardware thread on here that didn't mention mcmaster-carr, so I will.

mcmaster carries just about every screw/nut/bolt that you might ever find a need for. Their prices are fair and shipping is lightning-fast (e.g. I ordered at midnight wednesday, had my stuff friday morning). You can also do pickup if you live close to one of their facilities.
