The local body shop supply stores. if you know anyone in the industry you can get the cheep acid brushes we use for seamsealing i think i pay about $12 per hundred. they have differnt sizes available and most will also sell to the public. probably cheaper than the plumbing supply stores.

I bought a bunch when I bought some fiberglass supplies online a while ago. Cant remember exactly what they cost but it was cheap, somewhere in the $.10-.20 a piece.

Paint places or hardware stores, from ~1/2" to 2" bristle brushes with wood handles. You can also find "acid brushes" which are usually a round metal tube with bristles on one end.

I use for painting, brushing loose stuff off, etc.

I also save old toothbrushes for doing smaller stuff & inside motors. Those are free.

Thanks guys!

I'm concerned with using the cheap wooden handle ones, they tend to shed bristles, I've got some of the metal tubed ones and they work great for gluing and plasti weld but painting leaves brush strokes. I'll check out the acid brushes from the body shop
